Title: Kylie InGold: Fairy Offering - Blue Fairy


 

Acrylic on Canvas date approx 1996.

This was in my blue period. I painted a heap of blue Fairies. I found out sometime later that there is a celtic tradition about Blue fairies, they were pics or piks and the name pixie derived from them. They hid in the forests and painted themselves blue. I would like to find out more about them, if you know more details email me.

I recently repainted the wings. Didn't like the ones that I had originally painted on her.

I love the smooth energy in this painting. It's not often I can feel the energy and very few people are able to transfer that to writing or even to images. Congrats on being able to portray the amazing fluidy of your soulthoughts in your art. Blessed Be *curtsey*<br />
